Christmas Brings Joy and Funkeys

This Christmas was a fun time and I hope everybody else had a good time with family and/or friends as well! I was surprised when I opened a box with 2 new funkeys in it!! They were VR Raj, and VR Stitch!! I was especially surprised about the Stitch because it is from the first series and you hardly ever even see him on Ebay any more.

Merry (almost) Christmas!

Heya everybody!

I know I haven't been here much lately, my last post being Happy Halloween, but I haven't abandoned you! I have most definitely been busy, and probably will be until the holidays are over.

Glub Funkey Facts

The Glub are extremely agile and elegant when submerged but on land are like….well, a fish out of water.

The Glub speak in a strange bubbling slurping way that most Funkeys find difficult to understand. But oddly enough, the Glub have the most beautiful singing voices. All their speech difficulties go away when they sing. They perform in the great Funkey Hall, always sing the Funkey anthem “We Want the Funk”, before sporting events and, of course, at Parliament.

Despite their awkwardness on land, the Glub waddle around with their noses in the air and act like big superstars. They are the royalty of all Funkey celebrities and they act like it.

My High Score: 257 (Wins everything but Insane High Score.)

Although I have never seen someone with the Insane High Score item for Glubs game, there is a broken-looking one in Nightmare rift that you can see, if you really want to know.

Basically what you do is just plain bowl, but they set the bar for high scores way up. For the most part you need mostly strikes to win much of anything. If you follow the picture guide, and try, try, try, you will eventually get what you want. :) This trophy took me a few hours I think.

Well, since I can't find the cord to upload pictures at the moment, and all the pictures that I had were lost due to being on a different computer than the one I use now, My next Funkey Facts have been put on hold, and I know you haven't heard much from me recently, so Here are some random pictures for your enjoyment!! --Look up close at the fire, it's really neat--

New Funkeys!!

While out of town yesterday, we went through some different stores in an area I have never been before. It looked like all hope was dying, but when I went in a Kmart, my luck changed! We basically hit a jackpot. They had rarer singles that I haven't seen in their own package before, like Tiki and Fallout, and they had an Ace. Although I had those things already, I found a Rare Singe that completed my trio of Singes, and a Very Rare Snipe, completing my trio of Snipes!! It of course, also came with VR Wasabi, but theres nothing wrong with having a double of a VR Wasabi!! To sum things up, that was a very satisfying selection of Funkeys they had on their racks. They had them from almost every series, and I hope to see stores with similar selections in the future!

Funkeys Gone from Walmart?

While at Walmart we search, search, search for the Funkeys. We find nothing, besides the spot where they might have been. When we finally find a guy to check, he scans the thing, and says that they don't carry them anymore, as in discontinued!! Although we don't go to Walmart very often, I am still freaking out, what does that tell us for the future? Are Funkeys gone from Walmart forever? Does your Walmart have them still? Or is my Walmart just a group of Funkey-Hatin' Jerks?
